Welcome to Independence Natural Skincare!

We are very excited about this beautiful new site and a big thank you goes out to our wonderful friends, Vickie and Jason for helping us create it. Thank you and much love!

My background in Earth Science, finance, and interest in skincare came whirling together to create Independence Natural Skincare. What started out as my husband, Keith, and I giving our all-natural lip balm to family and friends as gifts has grown to include selling, not only lip balm, but Whipped Body Crème, Talc-Free Body Powders, and Hand Butter at three farmer's markets this summer (see schedule for details), the INDIEana Handicraft Exchange (http://www.indieanahandicraftexchange.com) and several amazing local shops.

We make all of our products in small batches, by hand, and with the finest natural ingredients. We currently use locally produced beeswax and herbs, with an eye out to gain more and more locally produced/grown ingredients to include in our products. You will never see petrochemicals, artificial colorants, parabens, or artificial fragrances in any of our products. Mother Nature does a pretty good job on her own.
